Nariko as Alice in Punkland

Part of the fun of ball jointed doll collecting is sharing what you do with them with other fans. This gallery is dedicated to BJD characters who play a particular role in our stories.
The Draequehaless family has close ties to some of the humans in the world called Earth, due to a long epic history in which their family plays a pivotal role.
Nariko is one of the key human characters, her boyfriend is the reason that the Sidhe are travelling interdimensionally to earth.

This is Nariko ( an Angelregion Fair Diana BJD ), she was the first BJD I ever ordered. I did her face-up (it took me over half a year to get her to cooperate with receiving a new face-up, her resin is terribly uneven and brittle and was horrible to clean and sand somewhat even).

I gave her this broken doll face-up to reflect her need for attention and drama. It was somewhat inspired by a tragic vision of Alice in Wonderland, combined with Sally from the Nightmare before Christmas and singer Maria Brink from In This Moment.
