Easter swap

The photo story below is a throwback to when we (my mother and I) first started collecting ball jointed dolls, this was probably somewhere in 2007.
We sure did have fun, although we weren’t the most gifted photographers or customizers.

Ryu and Kaida participated in an Easter Swap on the Dutch Dollfie Dots forum. They had sent their gifts to Lola and Elfred (Muizenstaartje) and received gifts from Melodi (Rosered).
They received their package in the midst of a serious battle…

The twins often do not agree on who gets to open the gifts…

Somehow, they managed to come to an agreement and they opened it together.

Although the attention span of a 5 year old isn’t that big and very soon they were attacking their gift wrapping paper…

Kaida once more assumed her heavy responsibilities of being a princess, while Ryu wondered about the contents of his gift wrapping…

And Kaida took the princess thing a bit further, while Ryu was in awe with his great new toy.

Jealousy is a very common thing among little children, even twins experience it from time to time (and they tend to make each other extra-super-mega jealous).

And just a bit more jealous…

Just to make up with each other again and come to a mutual agreement to join forces.

They’re really sweet kids, actually…
