subtractive modifications (sanding, carving, etc.), additive modifications (Apoxie, milliput, Sculpey, etc.) 
Details:
Apoxie sculpt to eyes, subtracted eye openings, modified ear shape, modified lip and chin shape.

Yellowing:
noticable yellowing (even) 
Details:
He was already a yellowish normal skin to begin with, so it’s hard to say how much he has yellowed precisely.
